Richard Bellissimo joined PennantPark in February 2024 and is a Managing Director. Since joining PennantPark, he has been involved with the financial reporting, accounting, tax and administrative matters of the Firm.
Before joining PennantPark, Richard was a Managing Director of Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting at 777 Partners LLC from 2020 to 2024. Before that, he was a Director of External Reporting at American International Group, Inc. (AIG) from 2019 to 2020, a Controller at PennantPark from 2010 to 2019, and an Audit Manager at Deloitte & Touche LLP from 2007 to 2010 and an Accounting Supervisor at Morgan Stanley from 1998 to 2007.
Richard holds an MBA with concentrations in Finance and International Business from Baruch College City University of New York, a BA in Accounting from the State University of New York at New Paltz and is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant.
