Matthew Metcalf joined PennantPark in May 2026 and is a Managing Director. Since joining PennantPark, he has been involved in data, analytics and business applications for the Firm.
Before joining PennantPark, Matthew was a Director of Private Markets Technology at Lionpoint Group/Alpha from 2022 to 2026. Before that, he was an Associate Director focused on post-merger system and data integrations at Apollo Global Management from 2020 to 2022. He spent the previous decade as a Vice President at Oaktree Capital building out their Data Management team from 2009 to 2019. Prior to Oaktree, he led Hedge Fund Operations for Camden Asset Management from 2004 to 2009.
Matthew holds a BA from the University of California and an MBA from the University of Colorado.
