Erik Schimmel joined PennantPark in August 2025 and is a Client Director. Since joining PennantPark, he has been involved in setting up and launching the Áubley Bond business in the Netherlands for the Firm.
Before joining PennantPark, Erik was a Senior Broker at Saxo Bank from 2023 to 2025. Prior to that, he worked as a Project manager at Saxo Bank from 2022 to 2023, and in 2020, he was a Sales Associate at BinckBank N.V. a Netherlands-based online bank specialized in investment services in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Italy and Spain.
Erik holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and Languages from the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
