Ashton Smith joined PennantPark in August 2025 as an Associate. Since joining PennantPark, he has been involved in maintaining portfolio management systems regarding investment activity, cash and position reconciliation, relationship management with banks, data analysis and interpretation for custodian/accounting teams, and implementation of portfolio management systems for the Firm.
Before joining PennantPark, Ashton Smith was an Operations Analyst at MGG Investment Group from 2023 to 2025. Before that, Ashton Smith interned at PNC Financial Services during the summer of 2022.
Ashton holds a B.S. in Economics with a minor in Mathematics from Haverford College.
