Art discussed how private credit remained resilient as an asset class throughout the pandemic and highlighted how private debt managers will be in a position to help companies in the coming year. “This pandemic was a real test for the market,” Art said. “And the fact that senior debt and second lien performed well and that the direct lending space has grown larger should engender more confidence in the space.”
